Really enjoyed my such wonderful stay with good friendly service. They provided lots of tasty choices for breakfast that was included.

Generally, the place was well worth a visit and had helpful staff on the reception desk.

Truly exceptional property, immaculately clean, its staff and food were perfect. The bed was comfy, and the room itself was very good. Also, I enjoyed how top the location was. I found there lots of restaurants to eat, like China Cottage that is only 10 minutes' walk away.

I had 3 nights in Ambleside, spending the time here really good. The restaurant was nice with good food, I tried excellent dishes.

The stay was very very good. Spotlessly clean and pleasant accom with unbeatable location close to the waterfront as well as the lake. The reception was very friendly with efficient staff.

I loved prime location and amenable staff. Sumptuous breakfast, first-class service. Marvellous view, a big balcony, nice bed, too. Perfectly located hotel. Besides, it was within 200 metres of ambleside pier.

This place was clean and had very good staff and food. Though beds were not comfortable, I enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast was included and had plenty of meals. The stay for another visit soon certainly was good price value.

As for me, the area was very busy.

The venue is extremely comfy, it offers plentiful breakfast and has ideal location close to town centre, Windermere and local fish & chip shop.

Outstanding staff and fine breakfast with plenty of options. Bed was large, and overall the room was airy.

Room was attractive with soft bed and staff were virtuous. I got free upgrade and appreciated it. Free hot drinks, very good wifi were a nice surprise

Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Fairly clean brilliant accommodation with courteous staff and gorgeous location right on the lake. The English breakfast was perfect, had scrambled eggs and biscuits.

Picturesque location, outstandingly accommodating stuff, exceptionally comfortable bed. Hotel was fairly clean. Wonderful place with extraordinary service too. Moreover, we parked our car on site. In rothay manor restaurant you could have Vegetarian meals.

This is a hotel go-to for Ambleside! The staff were very loyal and the restaurant was LOVELY! Adjacent to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. Alright variety at breakfast. Great view from the balcony.

We have stayed in Ambleside many times and would definitely come back. We greatly enjoyed the views and staff. Their food was lovely with plenty of meals. Hotel's waitress was top!

We liked free WiFi here, it made our stay lovely. We enjoyed wateredge inn from the moment we entered. Super base for a weekend in Ambleside.

If you are going to visit lake windermere, you can stay here. A patio is why we chose it. Very spacious rooms. Everything you might need for you vacation is here, we really enjoyed stuff and the food:)))
